To play Westborough Girls Youth Lacrosse, each player must have the following equipment:

· Regulation women's crosse (lacrosse stick) 

· Approved eyewear (lacrosse goggles) 

· Molded Mouth guard (any color other than clear or white)

For the safety of all involved, only players with a mouth guard and goggles will be permitted to play.  Please be sure that your daughter has these items for all practices, scrimmages and games, or she will not be permitted to play.

Recommended footwear will vary depending on playing surface (synthetic turf or natural grass) and field conditions.   Generally, molded sole cleats are recommended for playing on grass, and flat-bottom athletic shoes ('flats') or turf shoes (sneakers are acceptable) are recommended for playing on turf.

No jewelry is allowed on the field – including earrings in newly pierced ears.

The program provides goalie equipment for those who need it.  The equipment includes the following:  helmet with face mask, separate throat protector, chest protector, abdominal and pelvic protection, goalie gloves, and leg padding on the shins and thighs.
